Inside a small house at the end of the street, an old woman sat by the window, holding a faded photograph. Her eyes followed the faces in the picture — her husband, her children, her past.
Every evening she would whisper, “If only I could see them all together once more.” The walls knew her pain, the silence knew her wish — an unfulfilled desire buried beneath her smile.

அவள் சாளரத்துக்கருகே உட்கார்ந்து கொண்டிருந்தாள். பழைய புகைப்படத்தை கையில் பிடித்து மெதுவாக சிரித்தாள். “எல்லாரும் மீண்டும் ஒன்றா இருந்தா போதும்…” என்று மனசுல நினைத்தாள். ஆனா அந்த நாள் வரவில்லை.
வீட்டின் ஒவ்வொரு மூலையும் அவளோட குரலை நினைத்துக்கொண்டது. அவளது ஆசை நிறைவேறவில்லை — ஆனா அவளது பாசம் மட்டும் என்றும் நிறைந்திருந்தது.
