The Case of the Mischievous Muffin — (செரிப்பான மஃபின் வழக்கு)
A cozy, playful little mystery — ஒரு மென்மையான, சிரிப்பூட்டும் சிறு மர்மக் கதை. (Tamil + English mix)
It was one of those foggy mornings when the cafe steamed like a warm story. ஒரு நைரவகாலையில் காஃபேவில் தேய்ச்செல்லும் மணமும் புத்தக வாசிப்பவர்களின் நிசப்தமும் இருந்தது. The blueberry muffin on the pastry shelf looked like a little jewel.
“One blueberry muffin, please,” the regular said. The barista reached — and discovered an empty space. Vanished. No crumbs, no wrapper, just a small, suspicious gap where the muffin had been. “ஏன் மஃபின் இல்லை?” எல்லோரும் கேட்டனர்; சின்ன சந்தேகம் ஒரு பெரிய சிரிப்பாக மாறியது.

- The napkin: a tiny doodle of a crown — child-like and cheerful.

The regulars turned into amateur detectives. Mr. Iyer from table three hummed suspiciously; the college student near the window checked his phone for an alibi; the barista recalled a flash of small sneakers outside. அனைவரும் சிரிக்க ஆரம்பித்தனர் — மர்மம் சுவாரஸ்யமாக மாறியது.
A Little Twist / ஒரு சின்ன திருப்பம்
At noon a child returned, cheeks stained purple and eyes wide. “Muffin,” he announced, holding out sticky fingers. Behind him a small dog wagged its tail. The mother apologized with a laugh — the mystery solved by sweetness, not sleuthing. மதியத்தில் ஒரு பிள்ளை திரும்பி வந்தான்; முகம் ப்ளூபெர்ரி நிறம்கொண்டு இருந்தது. “மஃபின்,” அவன் சொன்னான். எல்லாம் சரியா!
The cafe owner smiled and offered a replacement muffin on the house. The morning’s detective game ended in shared laughter and a lesson in small kindness. கடை உரிமையாளர் ஒரு புதிய மஃபினை மனக்கூறலாக வழங்கினார் — எல்லோருக்கும் சிரிப்பு போதும்.
