Every morning, Meena would walk through the small lane near the old age home. The elders sitting outside smiled at her — some with missing teeth, some with shining eyes. Their toothless smiles carried stories of love, struggle, and forgotten dreams.
One day, Meena stopped and offered sweets to them. They smiled wider, not for the sweets — but because someone remembered them. In those toothless faces, Meena saw the true beauty of kindness.

ஒவ்வொரு காலைமுமே மீனா, முதியோர் இல்லம் அருகே உள்ள சின்ன தெருவை கடந்து செல்வாள். வெளியில் அமர்ந்திருந்த மூதாட்டிகளும் மூதாதையர்களும் அவளை பார்த்து சிரிப்பார்கள் — சிலருக்கு பல் இல்லை, சிலருக்கு கண்களில் பிரகாசம் இருந்தது.
ஒரு நாள் மீனா நின்று அவர்களுக்கு இனிப்புகளை கொடுத்தாள். அவர்கள் சிரித்தார்கள் — இனிப்புக்காக அல்ல, அவர்களை நினைத்துப் பார்த்த ஒருவருக்காக.
