🌫️ The Quiet Evening

It was a quiet evening in the small village. The wind had stopped, and even the birds refused to sing. சிறு கிராமத்தில் அந்த மாலை நேரம் வித்தியாசமாக அமைதியாக இருந்தது. காற்று நின்றது. பறவைகள் கூட பாட மறுத்தன.

Ravi, walking back home, felt something unusual — like the air was whispering a warning.

“Why does silence feel heavier than noise?”

🔥 The Sign

As he neared the temple, the lamp that always burned inside flickered — then went out completely.

அவன் கோயிலின் அருகில் சென்றவுடன், எப்போதும் எரிந்து கொண்டிருந்த தீபம் திடீரென மினுங்கி, முற்றிலும் அணைந்தது.

Ravi froze. The priest came running — “That lamp has never gone out in fifty years!”

“அந்த தீபம் ஐம்பது ஆண்டாக அணைந்ததேயில்லை!” என்று புஜாரி திகைத்து கூறினார்.

🌩️ The Ominous Cloud

Black clouds rolled in from nowhere. Thunder rumbled like a warning drumbeat. கருமேகங்கள் எங்கிருந்தோ வந்து சேர்ந்தன. இடியும் மின்னலும் எச்சரிக்கை போல ஒலித்தன.

⚡ Birds fled toward the forest.
🪶 Leaves swirled in frightened circles.
🌧️ The first drop of rain fell — heavy, warm, and strange.

It wasn’t rain. It was ash.

🕉️ The Revelation

From the temple tower came a faint sound — the sacred bell. Ravi turned and saw the priest praying loudly.

“அந்த மணி தானாக ஒலிக்கும்போது, தெய்வம் பேசுகிறது,” the priest whispered.

And then, as suddenly as it began — everything stopped. The silence returned, but it was different now — peaceful.

🌺 Moral / அர்த்தம்

Sometimes, an ominous sign is not a curse — it’s a call to awaken the sleeping faith within us. சில நேரங்களில், அச்சுறுத்தும் அறிகுறி சாபமல்ல; நம்முள் உறங்கும் நம்பிக்கையை எழுப்பும் அழைப்பு.
