Every family has a story. But the story of the “Gattakali” family was written with tears, love, and sacrifices. ஒவ்வொரு குடும்பத்திற்கும் ஒரு கதை உண்டு — ஆனால் கட்டகாளி குடும்பக் கதை தியாகம், அன்பு, பாசம் கொண்டு எழுதப்பட்டது.
This was a home where father worked day and night, mother saved every rupee silently, and children learned to smile even when there was no reason. அப்பா ரெண்டு நேரமும் வேலை செய்து கொண்டிருந்தார்… அம்மா காசை சேமிச்சா, பசங்களும் கஷ்டத்தில் கூட சிரிக்க கற்றுக்கொண்டார்கள்.
The world called them “Poor”… but inside the house — they were rich in love. உலகம் அவர்களை வறியவர்கள் என்று சொன்னது… ஆனால் வீட்டுக்குள்ள — அவர்கள் அன்புல ரிச்சு இருந்தாங்க.
Struggles / போராட்டங்கள்
Food was less. Money was scarce. Dreams were expensive. Yet no one blamed life — they only encouraged each other. “முடியாது” என்று யாரும் சொல்லவில்லை — “நம்மாலே முடியும்” என்பதே அந்த வீட்டின் பழக்க மொழி.
Turning Point / மாற்றத்தின் தொடக்கம்
One day the elder son got a job. He bowed down and touched his parents’ feet — “From now… pain ends here. Our time begins.” என்றான். அந்த ஒரு நாள் — அந்த குடும்பத்துக்கு எல்லாம் ஆனது.
The family which once struggled to buy food… now ate together on the same table with happiness. முன்பு உணவு கூட வாங்க முடியாத குடும்பம் — இப்போது சிரிப்பு கொண்டே உணவுப் பந்தலுக்கு கூடுதலாக நாற்காலிகள் சேர்த்தது.

- காசு வந்தால் வீடு வளரும்… ஒன்றுபட்டிருக்கிறோம் என்றால் குடும்பம் வளரும்.

- சந்தோஷம் வாங்கப்படுவதில்லை — கட்டப்படுவது.
